WHAT IS BARKEOLOGY?

BARKEOLOGY is a bold new multimedia exploration of dogs in ancient art and archaeology.

The primary goal of BARKEOLOGY is to inform and inspire a new generation of minds to explore the ancient bond between dogs and humanity through the study of the ancient arts and archaeology.

The secondary goal of BARKEOLOGY is to expand and heighten the present-day connection between people and the approximately 4 million dogs that end up in animal shelters every year. Each of these dogs is an important link to our past as well as to our future as a dynamic and humane civilization.

My personal goal is to increase canine adoptions by 50% over the next 20 years by instilling in today's children our duty to preserve, protect and provide for the very animal that enabled humanity to preserve, protect and provide for ourselves, our families and our civilizations since our bond with dogs was first forged through domestication tens of thousands of years ago.

Don't just adopt a dog, adopt an amazingly loving and loyal part of human history.
